My mom went into labor around midnight. Early in the AM, contractions started coming on fast, so they bundled into the truck and contacted the family friend who would be taking care of my older sister. By the time they dropped her off, my head was already emerging. By the time they reached the hospital, my head was already out, which is most of the birth. They tried to put an IV in my mom but she kept knocking their hands away. I was born minutes later. It was Thanksgiving Day.
